We’re Opening a New Family Cycling Shop in Eddington, Cambridge
Outspoken Cycles is thrilled to announce the opening of our new family cycling shop in Eddington, Cambridge, this October.
As part of our ongoing mission to encourage and facilitate cycling for families and businesses, we’re excited to expand our services to the heart of the growing Eddington neighbourhood. Our doors will officially open on Saturday, 19th October, and we’ll be giving away a free gift to the first 75 visitors!
Why Eddington?
Over the past five years, we’ve proudly provided bike repair services, bike hire, and pedal-powered activities to the Eddington community in partnership with Cambridge University. As demand for a permanent bike shop grew, we teamed up with the University to make it happen, supporting their commitment to active travel, which perfectly aligns with our mission at Outspoken Cycles.
Eddington’s vibrant, sustainable community makes it the ideal location for our new family cycling shop. By establishing a long-term presence, we aim to make cycling more accessible to families, commuters, and enthusiasts, contributing to greener living and healthier lifestyles.

At the new Eddington location, Outspoken Cycles will be open 6 days a week Monday – Friday from 8.30 am – 5 pm and 9:30 am – 4:30 am Saturdays providing a range of services and products to meet the needs of the local cycling community:

A Brief History of Outspoken Cycles

Based in Milton, we offer expert bike repairs, a community Dr Bike service, and maintenance training courses. We also provide bike hire options for individuals and businesses through our pool bike scheme.
From a small repair service, we’ve grown into one of Cambridge’s leading cycling businesses, known for high-quality bike maintenance, fleet servicing, and e-cargo bikes. We collaborate with local councils, schools, and businesses to promote cycling as a fun, healthy, and sustainable mode of transport, while also providing pedal-powered activities for events.
