We’ve launched a new Bike Hire Scheme for Cambridge

Residents and visiting families who may need a bike for a few days to a few months are now able to hire a bike from our Outspoken shop at Eddington.

Whether you’re testing out the idea of commuting by bike, need a temporary set of wheels while you’re in town, or simply want to park like a VIP right outside the door, instead of circling multistorey car parks like it’s a Mario Kart level, our scheme is designed to make it easy and accessible.

Designed around you

We launched this service after hearing from local people who said they wanted a simple way to try out cycling without the pressure of buying a bike straight away. Others told us they were visiting Cambridge and struggled to find suitable short-term bike hire that offered comfortable bikes for everyday use. We realised there was a gap, so we stepped in to help.

Flexible bike hire options

This hire scheme is all about flexibility. You can hire a bike from as little as £30 a week, for anywhere between 7 days and 3 months. All bikes are collected from our Eddington workshop where our friendly team will talk you through everything and help get you set up with accessories if needed.
